Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Their bright eyes are intent; their eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly they begin to run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

Pet Release

We value our customers and the well-being of each and every pet that enters our door. We promise to do our best to insure your pet's health and safety while on our premises. In the case of an emergency, the pet owner will allow Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2 to take any necessary, appropriate actions to insure the safety and well-being of the pet while it is in our care. Aftercare shall be the responsibility of the pet owner. We will require the name and phone number of your Veterinarian for our records.

  • Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2 has the right to refuse services on any pet or owner due to inappropriate behavior.
  • Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2 may use an E-Collar or muzzle when it is necessary to insure the safety of your pet and ourselves.
  • Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2 is not responsible for pre-existing skin conditions such as, but not limited to: irritated or a braised skin, hot spots, flea bites, dry skin, sores, etc.

Be aware that demitting or shaving severely matted pets may cause razor irritation, brush irritation, or release the tension in the skin causing the pet to itch. In this case Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2 is not responsible but will do everything to avoid these conditions. Please check your pet over BEFORE leaving Dog Day Afternoon/Dog Day 2. We are not responsible for fleas, re-trimming, re-bathing, or treating conditions after the pet leaves the building.

Due to owners or their delegates not picking up their pet(s) in a timely manner, it has become necessary to begin this late fee policy. We will call our clients (1/2) an hour before finishing their groomed pet, if your pet is picked up within one hour. No fees will be incurred.
